Welcome to ORIC

Under the directives and supervision of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) was established at RLCON Khairpur in August 2024. ORIC offers extensive support for all matters related to research and development, innovation, inventions, commercialization, patents, collaborations, as well as the organization of seminars, colloquia, symposiums, conferences, workshops, and research publication honorariums.

In addition, the office arranges diverse conferences, seminars, workshops, and industrial visits to enhance leadership qualities and build camaraderie among students. Serving as the central platform for all research-related initiatives at RLCON Khairpur, ORIC assists faculty members and scholars in promoting their research at both national and international levels. The office has also developed strong connections with key stakeholders and is actively nurturing numerous promising business ideas from students across various academic fields.

The ORIC at RLCON Khairpur is committed to cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset among faculty and students, with the goal of meeting and exceeding the evolving demands of Pakistan’s job market. It envisions becoming a key driver of research, innovation, and economic growth in the country.

Objectives & Functions

The Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) aims to:

  • Develop, strengthen, and manage the research programs of the International Prime Institute of Health Sciences.

  • Align research activities with the educational, social, and economic priorities of RLCON Khairpur and its surrounding community.

  • Ensure that all research meets the highest international standards, thereby enhancing the reputation of RLCON Khairpur among the world’s leading research institutions.
